Content Designer at Capital One
Content Designer at Capital One
I’ve been content designing for over 7 years. In that time, I’ve been a champion for scalable content strategies.
In my role at Key Web, I learned and taught our UX discovery framework to our junior copywriters. At Capital One, I became the foremost subject matter expert on error message content patterns. When that work earned me a spot on our design systems team, my day-to-day looked like writing, editing and advising content through the lens of how it could scale across the entire enterprise.
This experience means that what you get with a me is a self-aware and methodical content designer. At any moment, I can open the hood on my brain processes and explain each piece of my content decisions in digestible concepts. I present these content decisions with an open mind, inviting input and creating the space for purposeful roundtable discussions and design jams.
As a mentor, I'd like to continue my role of elevating the entire community of content designers around me.
“Really appreciated my session with Christian. He’s thoughtful, empathetic, and gets what designers go through. He helped me unpack my portfolio and organize the story in a much more strategic and cohesive way. Super helpful.”
“Christian was super approachable and had many useful insights to share about content design, the current market, and my portfolio. He gave me great actionable advice on 2 case studies and left detailed notes to recap our session. I look forward to chatting with him again and would recommend him to CDs at any level looking for clear and kind advice!”
“Christian is well aware of the realities in his field of work and is knowledgable about how to overcome them both within the field and away elsewhere, if necessary. I'd recommend talking to Christian about Content Design or anything else professional in a heartbeat.”
