• Led the design, validation and beta roll-out of the largest project in Marktplaats’ history: a migration to a completely new platform, replacing the full stack (incl. a full redesigned UI).⁣
• Held commercial responsibility for the consumer upsell products (insertion fees, bump-ups, top-ads, etc..).⁣
• Drove product discovery on major commercial concepts, incl.: SMB seller proposition, Integrated shipping, Checkout and payments (all still relevant for Marktplaats today).

The quest to utilise brand research (Y&R Proprietary Tools BAV™ & 4Cs) in product innovation and strategy. My research has led to the development of a Data-Driven Brand Innovation methodology. Drawing on in-depth case studies from FMCG, Airlines and the Gaming Industry this approach takes quant and qualitative insights to inform a robust product strategy. The outcome? A highly acclaimed innovation process grounded in the brand ethos, characterized by a seamless integration of data-driven analysis, strategic workshops, and iterative product concept development.
