On mat leave til mid 2024 Hi. I’m Conni.
I've been working in content design and UX writing for several years. I slowly transitioned to it from a background in marketing and copywriting, and have been working in tech for over 9 years.
Over my career I have mostly focused on mobile app experiences, and in my time as a lead and manager I have covered content ops, design systems and tools, processes and strategy, and (everyone’s favourite) good old voice and tone guides.
Here are some of the ways I can help: • Supporting aspiring content designers with your transition into content design, including portfolio reviews. • Supporting junior content designers with honing your craft. • Helping product designers to make better content decisions or advising on collaboration with content designers and UX writers. • Supporting any content designers who just need a safe space to talk about work and collaboration - especially if you’re a one-person team!
In my free time you'll find me crafting, drinking beer, looking after my plants, gaming, and fawning over architecture.
