With more than 15 years of working professionally in the Design industry and a year back into Agency life, I've had the opportunity to lean into a culture of remote co-creation with many of our clients and management team. At Look Listen, the pursuit of improving the human experience for our clients and their customers with well-researched design solutions has put my knowledge and leadership skills to work every day since I joined.

Our clients are looking for the HOW and the WHY when investing in product development. Partnering with health and wealth groups such as Georgia-Pacific, Synchrony, Primis Bank, and Cognia in various UX Research, UI Design, and Brand Development efforts continues to be a rewarding experience.

In 2015, I joined an enthusiastic group of creatives at Platinum with the goal of revitalizing Full Sail University's online presence. By partnering with senior leaders across the organization, we have been able to evaluate and define sustainable web strategies that meet both branding and business needs. While introducing leaner and more inclusive working practices, I look to inspire new collaborations between various groups and create alignment on company-wide initiatives.

I feel most productive when I get to plan my day, surround myself with smart design and energetic people, use design thinking to refine production processes, have stimulating conversations about user experience with content creators, build and present deliverables (wireframes, design concepts, site maps, content inventories, etc.) as needed per project size, and oversee development progress; all to help bridge the gaps of interaction of the Full Sail student.

As part of the Brand & Creative Resources team, I transitioned the Sales & Marketing e-mail marketing campaigns to more sustainable workflows that ease maintenance time, test modern web development trends, and evolve design and development to responsive layouts with our current brand standards to maximize engagement and conversion rates. I also raised awareness of the importance of documenting, archiving, analyzing, and standardizing creative processes. By promptly adapting to changes in user behavior and campaign results, we incorporated social media, mobile-friendly designs, and personalized content as we strive to be the premier leisure and hospitality company in the world.

My contribution to the Progressive Design Group is to create compelling web experiences with our client’s business objectives in mind. My role expands from managing all stages of a project to helping develop interactive solutions that are within the budget and time expectations. I also assist the team with a variety of creative and print production work.

During my time with the Creative team at MindComet, I had the opportunity to help develop the online presence of global brands such as TÜV Rheinland ( website redesign winner of the 2011 IAC Award for Outstanding Achievement in Internet Advertising ), SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, Guess Watches, Wente Wineries, Disney Auditions and Pfister Faucets to name a few. Under the direction of our creative directors, I also had the opportunity to contribute to the internal marketing and sales presentations for the company.

Daissy Linares is a professional Visual Communicator focused on developing branding solutions through design-thinking techniques, digital strategy, and interface prototyping. For her, actively engaging with cross-functional teams is integral to achieving business goals and human-centered experiences.

Based in Atlanta, GA, she brings more than twelve years of experience working with award-winning in-house design groups, corporate teams, and creative agencies in the hospitality and education industries.

Daissy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Academy of Art University and has been an active design community mentor of young professionals with the AIGA Orlando Chapter and Dribbble Orlando Meetup Series since 2015.
