- Lead the design, maintenance, and scaling of a robust design system, significantly enhancing design consistency and efficiency across the organization.
- Boosted design system component utilization by crafting comprehensive documentation and integrating guidelines directly into Figma.
- Established cross-functional alignment among product design teams by architecting systematized approaches to observability solutions, fostering collaboration and improving data-driven decision making.
- Oversaw the design system roadmap, ensuring alignment with evolving business objectives and user needs.

I lead the strategic design and experience of all products within the Data Center Networking group (a $6B/Yr. business for Cisco). Our designs empowered customers to seamlessly configure, analyze, model, and manage their on-premises, cloud, and hybrid data center resources. My contributions in this complex domain includes:

Driving Innovation and Efficiency:
- Streamlined the user experience transition from on-premises software to a SaaS model for our monitoring and analytics solutions, ensuring a smooth and intuitive transition for our customers.
- Pioneered the development of a sustainability-focused solution within the group, fostering collaboration across Cisco and establishing company-wide Sustainability Design Principles.
- A key driver for the adoption of Cisco's Common Design System within the Data Center Networking group, delivering all 6 applications in record time through collaboration with product leaders across various organizations.
- Created presentations for executive leadership and key customer events like Cisco Live, fostering industry engagement and product adoption.

Collaboration and Impact:
- Strengthened the collaboration between UX, Engineering, and Product Management teams, leading the creation of innovative user experiences that achieved both business objectives (reduced churn rate) and user satisfaction (increased engagement).
- Implemented process improvements to streamline workflows, eliminate unnecessary tasks, and enhance progress tracking, resulting in improved design-to-developer collaboration and significantly reduced product style issues.
- Fostered a culture of open communication, mutual respect, and continuous learning within the team. This led to exceptional team spirit and an environment where everyone felt valued and empowered to contribute, resulting in unprecedented team retention.
