As an instructor, I help students gain the understanding necessary to succeed as user experience designers. I facilitate workshops and conversations that allow students to apply their education of fundamental UX principles. My priority is to assure students that they are in a place that allows them to feel safe to make mistakes they can learn from. Through mindful coaching, I strive to foster active learning so that these aspiring designers are set up for success.

As the User Experience Designer at Cipher Skin, I defined research objectives to learn about our users as well as our competitors. I created testing plans that helped inform our development team of changes our users would like to see implemented in our products. A major part of my role there was to conceptualize a new user flow through wireframing and prototyping that we use to test and validate onboarding experience for people who had limited mobility and understanding of tele-health technology.

At CarbonLoop I worked with a team of developers in creating an on-demand recycling service that allowed residences and businesses to have their recycling done for them. I lead user research, competitive analysis and usability testing that informs our team which features to prioritize and make critical product design decisions.

I was brought on board to forward my experience to students looking to get a sense of real-world applications of their skills in visual design, such as graphic design and web design. I blended traditional lecture-style instruction with modern workshop-style interaction to my curriculum to encourage student engagement. I lead topics of Image Design and Portfolio Development.

At Digital Karma, I was responsible for sourcing and scheduling users interviews for prototype testing and synthesizing findings to inform future development iterations. I also designed user onboarding using storytelling and illustration.

Conducted both quantitative and qualitative data analysis on data gathered from focus groups, one-on-one interviews, surveys, and remote and local user testing. Analyzed and synthesized qualitative and quantitative data to distill meaningful findings to inform the design process.

I was welcomed back to help develop an online presence for the company. This involved managing and then rebuilding our company website, establishing social media accounts, and studying online analytics to better understand who our readers were and how we could reach them more efficiently. Alongside our website, I implemented the sales of our photography online. This automated the sales process as well as provide more access to our enormous photo library. This is in addition to producing the San Marino edition of our weekly publications and assisting in the production of advertisements.

As a User Experience Designer, I was responsible for creating user stories of the guests engaging our  interactive experiences. These user stories were used to imagine what the journey of our guests would be like as we developed the tools and designs. I regularly participated in client meetings in ideation for marketing campaigns. Projects include: Samsung (pop-up store, NYC), Disney (Infinity), Martell (product promo), Dim Mak Records (Redbull Flugtag), Covergirl (flagship store)

Created and pitched advertising campaigns to clients and served as a general production artist where I work with our print production team, producing marketing material for our clients.

Created a workflow that utilized automation functions in Adobe to streamline production time. Produce main sections of 2 weekly newspapers. Liaised with photographers and managed a complex filing system. Created photography guidelines as well as training manuals and style guides for production department.
