About Daniel Kang

Senior Product Manager at Spotify

Hello! My name is Daniel, I'm a Senior Product Manager at Spotify based out of NYC 😊

I've been as a product manager for over 6 years, primarily in the MarTech space. I started my career in sales/biz dev, but eventually transitioned over to product management while working at a software consulting agency in Toronto. Finally, I've worked at places ranging from 10 person startups and large tech companies – it's been a really fun journey 🙌

Today at Spotify, I primarily focus on tools that help our creators, marketers, and advertisers to make delightful marketing experiences on Spotify 🎵

A little bit about me personally – I was born in Seoul, but grew up living in Türkiye, Thailand, and Canada. I went to university in Montreal, ended up in Toronto, lived in Vancouver for a short while, and now I'm loving living in NYC 🇰🇷🇹🇷 🇹🇭 🇨🇦 🇺🇸

I'd love to mentor folks who are interested in the relatively early stages of their careers, especially those who are interested in entering software product management! I'm happy to help review resumes, conduct mock interviews, or any other activities that may be helpful. Looking forward to meeting you! 😄
