Service Design Strategist at Freelance

"Age quod agis" is my motto. It is latin and it means "Do what you do at your best". I do believe in the power of design as systemic thinking and its crucial role in decision making.

Until June 2022 I used to work as in-house Senior Service Designer in the healthcare industry: I started in 2016 from a small company and I had the opportunity to spend the last 4 yrs serving one of the most recognized hospital worldwide. I feel that now, more than ever, designers need to foster their capabilities in the healthcare sector. Until today I dealt with two different kind of "wannabe" collaborators: the business one that were not oriented at all to design but to profit solutions, and on the counterpart very junior or naive designers completely unprepared to stay in a complex and 24hrs system like a hospital. With my presence here, I would help to merge these two point of view in a new one.

I also want to give back the time and the kindness I've received - and still receiving - from lots of colleagues and designers that discuss with me about possible future.
