About Daniela Piazzi

Entertainment Researcher at Riot Games

Please read all the way through before booking :)

Hi, I’m Daniela 👋🏼

Let’s chat about how to combine your passion and your work! I prefer to work with college students and individuals early in their career.

For context, I’m a researcher for Riot’s Entertainment department. I am endlessly curious about what motivates humans to make the decisions they do and especially how their unique context may influence their behaviors. I’m originally a Caribbean girl from Aruba and I love to play beachtennis!

Things I can chat with you about: How to choose your a career path that is aligned to your interests/ passions Prep for an interview What it’s like to work as a researcher in the entertainment industry How to set up a research project

Things I can’t be helpful with: Talking about UX design Explaining what’s it’s like to work on a games team ( I work in the entertainment department, so not on a game) Editing resumes Editing cover letters Talking about roles in that are not in research, insights, or analytics

What mentees say

“Congenial character! :)”

Marcel Kirst, Recent CSULB graduate at CSULB

“Even in a short time, Daniela went above and beyond with her help and mentorship. She provided an opportunity to sit in a panel that's related to something I'm going for. Outside of that, she was very open about her experiences and her path to where she is today. I can't say enough about how helpful, insightful, and kind Daniela was during this mentorship.”

Samuel Han, Software Development Graduate at General Assembly

“Daniela has a realness about her that makes conversation easy and meaningful. She was receptive, engaged and provided meaningful insight into her journey to research and suggestions on how to reach goals. Overall - inspiring!”
