I spent 4 years working in Account Management/Sales. In this role I would listen to our customers' feedback and pain points. I found myself wanting to fix their problems instead of passing the feedback along to our product teams. With that in mind, I set out on a journey to become a Product Designer. I worked for small businesses, did volunteer projects, and did hackathons until I had a portfolio ready. I had many great mentors on ADPList that helped me along the way and I want to return the favor to fellow aspiring designers, in particular those that are making a career change just like I did!
