Meta is the organisation that conglomerates Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and WhatsApp ($935B 2021).

Leading 2 world class teams of software engineers (back-end, all levels) that design and build the foundations of Meta (Facebook) Shops e-commerce platform across Facebook and Instagram apps.

Responsible for the horizontal solutions covering the whole buyer journey (from product discovery to purchase), solving problems in areas like performance, reliability, stability, data and resulting in hundreds of millions USD saved.

Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including product management, data engineering and data science to make sure teams are delivering continuous business growth.

Playtech is the world's largest online gambling software supplier ($3B 2021).

Led mobile department of 30+ engineers and managers (iOS, Android, front-end, back-end, QA, DevOps) that completely owned full SDLC of iOS and Android applications, continuously delivering to 50+ industry's leading operators. Applications were awarded The best mobile casino apps.

Scaled the team from <20 to 30+ engineers and mostly renewed the team by hiring 20+ engineers over 3 years.

Line manager for other Engineering Managers, spotted and developed new stars.

Led implementation of the technical and processual changes, resulting in the ability to serve ~10x more operators with almost the same headcount.

Led transition from 5 days at office operation mode towards fully remote during the pandemic and flexible afterwards. Supported the department through the pandemic and war in Ukraine, managed to hit all planned goals and to deliver according to the original schedule.

Owned creation from scratch first-in-industry native games SDK to mitigate dramatic revenue loss because of HTML5 games restrictions introduced by Apple.

Led integration of 3rd party games into mobile apps, resulting in signed contracts with new operators.

Managed the process of decreasing game’s bundle size across many game studios at Playtech, far beyond the mobile department, resulting in the ability to have ~5x more games within the capacity threshold.

Managed migration of the huge legacy code base from Java to Kotlin and from Objective-C to Swift, resulting in significantly decreased technical complexity of the project and much easier hiring.

Together with Head of Product we were creating a roadmap for the department to make sure we’re keeping the bar of The best mobile casino app and fitting all the business trends.

Built a high-performing team of 6+ iOS engineers (all levels) that completely owned full SDLC of iOS gambling applications, continuously delivering to many industry's leading operators.

Invested in people development, secured 4 promotions over 2 years.

Worked on the solution design for many features covering the whole mobile department, maintaining a unified and scalable approach.

Managed to decrease the amount of defects in the backlog for ~60% (it was hundreds of defects).

Established CI / CD processes, covering many phases of the development process, resulting in significant boost in the development efficiency and quality.

Collaborated with Product Managers on creating a roadmap for the team.

Served as a go-to person for any kind of iOS domain and most mobile domain questions inside and outside the team.

Led the process of merging 2 projects, owned by 2 different teams (10+ mobile engineers each), to design and create a unified solution to serve a joint pool of customers and to resolve scalability issues. 

Created modular, configuration driven architecture, which allowed to solve similar problems from different customers without writing any code, resulting in thousands of hours of effort saved.

Refactored ~40% of the huge legacy gambling project and created a framework with core functionality. Framework was adopted across multiple dev teams, resulting in dramatically improved speed (~30% faster) and quality (~80% less issues) of deliveries as many teams started to use a shared code base.

Designed and built many features for the project to support the main company’s business, leading to improved revenue from mobile apps.

Worked as a part of the team of 10+ mobile engineers, as well as worked closely with Project and Product Managers to make sure we’re working on the most valuable features for the business.

Cleveroad provides outsource services for well-known companies worldwide.

Owned full development lifecycle, including gathering requirements from the customers, building solution design, prioritising and implementing the solution for 8+ iOS applications. All of them were successfully delivered in time and under budget.

Managed project teams of 2-4 engineers for multiple projects running in parallel. 

Grew other engineers, helped 4 engineers being promoted over 1 year.

Took a part in the pre-sale process providing estimates and technical advice, resulting in multiple contracts signed.
