About Dario Camacho
Senior Product Designer at AngelList
I’m a product designer with a passion for startups and building products that not only solve real problems but do it with delightful, intuitive interfaces that drive growth. Over the years, I’ve learned a lot...often the hard way! And one thing that’s stuck with me is how valuable the right mentorship can be early in your career.
When I was starting out, it wasn’t easy to find someone who really understood the kind of work I wanted to do or the path I was trying to carve out. That stuck with me, and it’s a big part of why I’m excited about mentoring now. Most early-stage startups tend to lean heavily on senior talent, which means I haven’t had as many chances as I’d like to support younger designers coming up. I’d love the opportunity to change that, helping folks navigate the messy, rewarding world of product design and startups with a little more confidence (and a few fewer mistakes).

What mentees say
“I had an amazing session with Dario, honestly, one of the best mentors I’ve met. He gave me incredibly constructive feedback and wasn’t afraid to point out the areas that really needed tightening, but always in a supportive and encouraging way. What stood out most was how he walked me through his own approach to structuring a strong portfolio presentation.”
“Dario is one of the best mentors I've learned from. Within the short 30 mins session we had, he shared incredibly actionable advice and masterclass on portfolio presentation and the in-and-outs of navigating career as a Senior Product Designer. And of course, his portfolio speaks for itself and it is just a testament of his visual prowness, among many of his other skills.”
“I had a wonderful chat with Dario today! He gave me really valuable feedback on my presentation, highlighting what’s working well and also where I could make improvements.”
