Hi there! I'm a UX Manager with experience working in some large companies - especially in insurance and financial services. I take pride in mentoring and advocating for new designers, and championing the roles of UX design/strategy/research wherever I'm working.
I've been a design leader in different hats for over a decade now and I'm happy to connect with all levels of designers to give back to the community!
I'm a dad, a casual hockey/soccer teammate, and a fan of work-life balance.

- Portfolio OR resume review (30 min): Let's take a look at your resume or portfolio! I'll give you some high level notes from the perspective of a hiring design manager or HR recruiter and then some actionable, detailed, comments to tinker with for your material.
- Mock interview: Design case study (45 min): We run a mock interview together! Case study/portfolio interview. You present your design work/case study, I ask questions and assess you like in a design manager interview stage.
- General Mentorship Session (30 min): Here's a few areas we could focus on depending on your situation: 1. Career path advice, UX industry chat, general mentorship 2. Specific job or project support, help with problem solving or brainstorming, navigating work politics and advancement 3. Whatever else - you tell me what you'd like to discuss!
