As the first Head of UX at Zaelot, I’m leading the charge to scale our design practice and embed UX as a strategic function within a fast-moving professional services firm focused on technology delivery.

I bring together leadership, strategic vision, and systems thinking to position design as a measurable value driver across client work, internal initiatives, and cross-functional teams.

Responsible for the end to end design of multiple flagship experiences implemented throughout the Verizon Ecosystem. 

The most notable and visible -  a fully reinvented customer registration experience to be implemented across Verizon's universe of products. To date, implementation of this new registration design has resulted in doubling of the customer registration engagement, exceeding KPIs.

As Lead Product Designer, I served as the lynchpin of interface and collaboration between the design team and multiple stakeholders, including executive leadership, product owners, customer insights, and developers. Leading this design effort involved coordinating large, multi-disciplinary stakeholder teams in the design and execution of the product. I focused on evangelizing design and user experience while aligning with resourcing, timeline, and other business requirements.

Other key accomplishments during my tenure at Verizon include:

*Evangelization of passwordless authentication,ultimately leading to adoption and integration of the FIDO passkey system into Verizon's authentication experience, resulting in a 30% reduction in forgot password support requests.

*Creation of an automated, personalized troubleshooting experience, resulting in a 20% increase in successfully closed automated support cases.

Led the design of a platform which utilizes AI to review satellite and hyperspectral imagery to predict vegetation overgrowth near overhead power lines. This platform ultimately resulted in a 12% cost savings to the department while increasing electricity delivery reliability by 15%.

Utilized strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset to evangelize the design to product managers, engineers, other designers, and strategists. This ensured any challenges were resolved through data-driven and human-centered solutions.

Integral to the growth and development of a new digital team; heavily involved in candidate review and mentorship.

Led the design of revolutionary products.

Drove all aspects of the Product Design for a state of the art digital drawing management and communication product for Apple’s 3DVM department. Performed usability testing to understand pain points of users. Distilled insights into actionable improvements to the design, then ran follow up usability tests to validate design decisions.

The Google Sprint approach to agile was followed to expedite timeline and focus on quality ideas utilizing divergent thinking strategies. Once implemented, the product resulted in 10% faster project completion and nearly 5% cost savings.

Designed multiple platforms to support WeWork's worldwide teams - around 6,000 people. Focused on product design supporting the Architecture, Engineering, and Real Estate teams. 

Platforms resulted in significant improvement of team efficiency and nearly 15% project cost savings.

Leveraged prior experience as an architect to deeply empathize with the user and better understand pain points.

Performed qualitative and quantitative user research: selection of focus group participants via screeners, conduct user interviews, diary studies, gather insights, and propose solutions for identified issues. 

Generated sketches and prototype wireframes and mockups; conduct usability studies and compare results against agreed upon benchmarks, KPIs. Iterated solution based on data and design thinking. Collaborate with key stakeholders.

Utilized superior prioritization skills and the ability to adapt to ambiguous environments. Utilized front end development skills to collaborate and clearly communicate design intent to technical stakeholders.

Practiced architecture for nearly a decade in London, New York, & San Francisco.
Clients include Google, Saks, Diesel, Cartier, Nike, and Adidas, among others,
with project locations in Europe, Asia, North America, South America, and Africa.
