About David Tham

Founder at STUDIONORM / Executive Committee Member at Design Business Chamber Singapore / Course Chair at Temasek Polytechnic /

I'm David. I'm a Design Entrepreneur and Educator focused on design studios and academic leadership, guiding course direction and industry engagement while overseeing curriculum and student development.

Before that, I co-founded StudioNorm Design Consultants, established in 2008, where I serve as Managing Director. I lead design services for hospitality-focused furniture, furnishings, and interior architecture projects, coordinating activities across Singapore and the United Kingdom. I have held adjunct lecturer roles at Temasek Polytechnic, University of the Arts Singapore, and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, where I contributed to product and industrial design education and studio projects.

I’d love to help students and people starting out, people changing careers, professionals growing in their role, and new managers and team leads. We can work on finding a career direction, building confidence and perspective, leading people and working with others, and growing skills and solving work challenges. Bring your questions, and we’ll find a practical next step together.
