Dayna Hall Carter is an award-winning design leader passionate about creating innovative brand experiences and mentoring emerging talent. Over her 15-year career, she has built and led multi-discipline creative, engineering, and product teams at ad, tech, and media companies. Her expertise lies in inventing unexpected ways for brands to connect with consumers, thriving in fast-paced environments, and championing the growth of equitable and inclusive spaces.
Based in Brooklyn, Dayna has worked with renowned brands such as Starbucks, Garmin, L'Oreal, and Novartis. Her work has garnered recognition from top industry organizations in categories spanning digital innovation and creative marketing. Most recently at Vox Media, she led a team of visual and product designers responsible for creating, building, and maintaining consumer-facing initiatives across all 18 networks. In her current role as Executive Director of Creative & Technology at Trade School, she is pivotal in shaping the strategic creative and product vision, elevating the creative bar, and launching new products & services for the agency.
Off the clock, Dayna can be found either adding another stamp to her passport or mentoring the next generation of creative minds at local colleges in the NY area.
