Hi, I'm Denise — a Full-Stack Software Engineer with 19 years of experience in tech, blending software development, business analysis, and community leadership.

I started my journey as a developer, spent over a decade as a Business Analyst working closely with product and engineering teams, and fully returned to development in 2020. I’ve worked with technologies like React, TypeScript, Node.js, Firebase, and Express — always with a focus on collaboration and growth.

As the creator and director of Pollination — a mentorship program I designed for a nonprofit empowering women in tech — I led the entire experience from the ground up: structure, training, pairing, support materials, and follow-up. I’ve also completed a coaching & mentoring certification to enrich that work.
