About Rishabh Jain

Design Researcher at Fractal Analytics

I work with Fractal Analytics as a Design Researcher. With a background in Architecture and allied disciplines, I always seen research as an integral part of informing design. My journey onwards, as an Architect, spanned through a range of projects - from designing simple residences to designing a hillside get- away at Panchagani. This process revealed some missing pieces, the pieces of Research that could have served the designs better and just a continuous thought in this direction culminated into pursuing a Design and Innovation programme from ISDI, which connected the dots and led him to design research. From brainstorming on familiarizing aquaponics to Product development project at Aalto University, Finland, the programme became a major milestone in his career and development journey. Apart from all of this, I work with a lot of NGOs as a Team lead and have trained over 60 volunteers towards graphic design and teaching. I spend my weekends with young minds trying to be a mentor to them and conducting heritage walks across the city of Mumbai which have also been published in Midday. This further paved my towards, teaching as a Visiting faculty at NMIMS, Somaiya School of Design and École intuit Lab,Mumbai.
