I was put on the fastest-growing but historically challenging area of the Twitch business to clear ambiguity and accelerate it's growth. 

I created a company-wide strategy for our Mobile app; assembled a product-led mobile team; was the keynote speaker at Twitch's annual mobile summit; launched innovative mobile user experiences and products on iOS/Android that showed high impact to user engagement and monetization.

Products launched: 
- New interactive watch mode for landscape video
- Mobile purchase and recognition flows for monetization (subs, gift subs, bits, and cheering)
- Mobile-first design vision and UX framework 
- New monetization experiences (ad-free player upsell, gamification flows, etc)

I helped creators monetize their viewership. I started 3 different teams during my tenure in this role and built over 20+ products. I was responsible for a large product portfolio of creator support features like Twitch Charity, Creator Goals, Hype Train, Leaderboard, and more. The products my teams and I built generate > $XXXMM in annual revenue and >$XMM in annual charity for Twitch.

My focus was on:

1) New user onboarding and Listener retention (personalization, recommendations, notifications) working with Engineering, Product, Data Science, Design, & UXR

2) Being a platform owner for SoundCloud's growth automation tools and its infrastructure-related decisions. We serve 175M+ monthly reached listeners.

My core focus was on creator retention and monetization. This included track engagement notifications, quota upsells, channel segmentation, and much more.

Developed systems that combined internal user data with marketing automation technology using Braze, Python, PostgreSQL, HTML/CSS, JS, etc.

IMMCO is a leading provider of HFC/Fiber software solutions to the broadband industry. I PM'ed a team of 20 remote developers and worked with large enterprise telecom clients to build fiber optic network construction software.

I founded ETR with my friends to push the boundaries of experiential events, production technology, and artist talent. Since 2015, we've hosted more than 30 events with 3000 unique attendees in SF and NYC while building a community of amazing people.

Orb was a consumer-priced stereoscopic 3D-360 video camera designed from the ground up for recording virtual reality experiences. I worked on automating video stitching using Python and OpenCV. Orb got accepted into BoostVC and received $50k in funding.

OpenGov offers a financial transparency and budget intelligence platform for state and local governments. I worked on enterprise sales and business development, selling to local governments and munis across the country.

Formation 8 is a venture capital firm that provides financial and strategic capital to early growth smart enterprise and energy technology companies, founded by Joe Lonsdale (Paypal, Palantir, Addepar). 

I worked on due diligence of 25+ Seed/Series A pitches and quantitatively analyzed missed investment opportunities using multiple financial datasets. My analyses turned into actionable strategic steps, leading to enhanced dealflow and predictive diligence.

I worked with a specialized task force created by the Obama administration within the International Trade Administration to streamline business registration processes in post-war Iraq and Afghanistan.

Fun fact: I participated in a nice teatime with the Iraqi ambassador to the US.

I founded TEDxUGA along with an amazing team of students, faculty, and alumni. We were awarded the university's 'Most Outstanding New Organization' in May 2013. TEDxUGA became institutionalized and is now a cornerstone of student, faculty, & alumni innovation at UGA.
