My main role as a product researcher is basically ensuring every product that the product managers want to launch is relevant, easy to adopt, and less-hassle by our user. I'm doing a lot of usability test (UT) projects, together with some 'classic' research methods like the in-depth interview, FGD, ethnography, or observation. We also combine some methods to answer our objectives. Creativity to solve the issue is the key.One of the fun parts in Gojek: Everything is possible in Gojek, thus, I and my time are one of the teams who conduct the remote UT study with our users. A lot of doubts and worries came for the very first time, but we did it! Now, the whole research team uses it as the reference to conduct the study during COVID pandemic.

I worked as a researcher here, mainly handling some of 'difficult' clients from various types of industries. My main clients were tech companies, gaming, and automotive. In InsightAsia I learned a lot about how to developing the business (esp. for SMB type of business which does not have a privilege of having a bulk of budget), a proper UT research (e.g. testing apps, website, concept, etc.), and also create an out of the box research method (i.e. reinvented group combined with ideation workshop). I really enjoyed working in IA during my time there.

After my time in MISI, I'm back to research company and LEAP is my choice to get a feeling of working in the startup research agency. I enjoyed my time in LEAP since I learnt to approach my clients independently and try to convince them to choose LEAP over the others. My main responsibility as a research manager is to handle and monitor the research process from scratch to the result. I handle proposal, client brief meeting, moderation, analysis and presentation.

MISI is a startup company which provides vocational education for everyone, especially professionals. My role was as a product manager who manages the program from the scratch ideas to the execution. I plan the teachers, duration of the program, calculating the budget and cost (including participant fee), venue, and marketing plan (including managing third-party who create marketing material).I enjoyed my time there as it gives me the business perspective in holistic POV. I learnt about how to execute the ideas, factor to consider, dealing with the stakeholders, and creating an effective marketing plan.

Ipsos is my first job and the best place to spend my 5 first years of working. Ipsos taught me about the research from I was a 'baby' in research to become a 'young adult'. I really enjoyed my time here as I got lots of knowledge that shape my foundation not only in research but also in life.My biggest achievement here was becoming the local champion in online research. I'm the main contact for Ipsos Indonesia if clients want to do online research, such as online diary, online product/concept test, and online panel.Moreover, I also learnt about how to groom my junior and I have a good relationship with them even until I left the company.
