About Donagh O'Keeffe
Product Design Lead at Automattic Inc.
Hi 👋, I’m an Architect by training, but swapped pencils for pixels back in 2009. Since then I’ve been a freelancer UX/UI Designer, a Co-Founder and a UX Lead in a global agency. I’m currently working as a Product Design Lead at Automattic, a renowned fully-distributed tech company, known for products such as WordPress, Tumblr, Jetpack, WooCommerce, and many more.
I’m Irish, based in Hungary but working for years with customers and colleagues from all over the world. I‘ve experience working in both agency and in-house environments both remotely and on-site. I also know a thing or two about transitioning late into a tech career. Over the years I’ve also gathered experience in design recruitment, on both sides of the table.
In my free time I'm interested in travel, architecture, motorcycles and spending time with my 2 boys.
