I'm a functional programming enthusiast, ski bum, plant dad, jazz pianist, compiler geek, erstwhile blogger, and data science dilettante. I enjoy working at the intersection of complicated UX and technological problems.
I currently work as a generalist engineer at Mercury, a digital banking startup. As a generalist, I wear several hats -- I do engineering work, design work, and product work. I love it.
Before Mercury I worked as a software consultant, specializing in data pipelines and distributed systems. Before that, I worked at Qualtrics for 5 years and did stints as a technical lead and a senior individual contributor.
Outside of work I love making music, playing outside, and thinking about fashion.
