Hello!
Throughout my 11 years at ServiceNow, I've had a unique journey that has taken me from Professional Services to Application Development to Quality Engineering to Performance Tooling Engineering to Platform Engineering to my transition from IC to Management and Director.
I've had the fortune of having great mentors at every stage of my journey and have had the great pleasure of mentoring other interns and engineers with technical, communication, organizational skills and many times just be someone to listen to them objectively and help them carve their own path.
As an IC, I experienced first-hand how lonely, confusing, and nerve-racking it can be when wanting to make career-changing decisions, learn growth strategies, enhance skills; now as a Manager I've learned to listen, empathize, and help people find their "fire", enable them to do their best work, and to continue being hungry and humble at every stage of our journey.
I started my journey in software being passionate about tech and excited that it was "far from people", and now, I've learned that it is people that make this journey and industry so great and enjoyable.
