To me, design isn’t just something we do, it’s really an extension of who we are, how we see the world, how we think through and react to problems and how we show up to solve them.

I am a trained teacher and self-taught designer based in San Francisco. I started my first design agency in 2008 and have spent the last 14 years as a web, UI/UX and Product Designer working for clients, startups and bootstrapping my own SaaS startups.

Currently, I'm the founder of DesignerUp where I teach product design and UI/UX through my mindful design and interaction approach. DesignerUp has since grown into a massive community and I enjoy more than anything exchanging knowledge and nurturing aspiring designers to lead more sustainable, intentional and fulfilling careers in product design.
