• Conducted hypothesis-driven experiments (including discovery interviews, prototype tests, live A/B tests, and surveys), and new product features to connect our members to more value more often.
• Translated both quantitative and qualitative insights into actionable, testable design ideas.

- Designed and shipped new mobile product to capture pre-segment customers.
- Built an up-sell experience for customers to move into a paid FreshBooks subscription.

As Designer on the Payments team at FreshBooks, I was responsible for native mobile and web Online Payment experiences on both the our legacy and the new FreshBooks platform. Wearer of many hats - from high-level product thinking to interaction flows and interface design—all the way to Prototyping, Research, and Visual Design. 

• Leading the design of the online payment experience in the new FreshBooks platform
• Helped grow the Payments line of business over 240%
• Facilitating Design sprints with PM, Designers, Developers, and other key stakeholders. 
• Conducting research sessions (Ethnography, Qualitative Interviews, Usability testing) with customers to validate ideas and uncover new product opportunities.
• Leveraging data tools (FullStory, Heap, Periscope) to monitor and analyze customer engagement.  
• Ownership over our product's Design System and design pattern.
• Actively mentoring fellow Designers among the Design team.

HEIST is a design consultancy that built and iterated on products by applying human-centred design. We have helped build products for companies like TELUS, Smart Technologies, Ritual and Bitmaker Labs.

Worked on various projects with our largest client, TELUS Mobility as Designer embedded in their Digital Labs teams. Responsible for designing end-to-end experiences, prototyping solutions, seeing design execution through product launches and iterating existing product experiences.

• Introduced Design Sprint processes into client teams
• Conducted weekly Research sessions (in-house and remote) – Building discussion guides, testing prototypes, and facilitating research sessions.
• Documented, organized and packaged design work for internal client teams continue building upon.

Shifthub is a cloud based social staff scheduling application, targeting the 4.4M small and medium sized businesses in North America that schedule their staff. These are companies with very limited tools and even fewer of those solutions that can actually help a company grow their business.

Shifthub allows small businesses to:
* Quickly create & publish schedules
* Empower their staff to help manage this process
* Enables them to help the company grow through mobile and social interactions.

Tasked to redesign both web and mobile platforms to improve overall user experience for both employers and their staff. 
* Designing and prototyping both mobile and web app experiences in parallel
* Introduced a redesigned marketing website to better target main customer segments
* Adhered to mobile best practices from iOS Human Interface Guidelines for iOS 8
* Launched redesigned mobile app in time for iOS 8 public release

Responsible for all conceptual ideation, mockups and high-fidelity designs for both web and mobile platform. Role consisted of constant evaluation our products' over-all functionality, feel, and aesthetics while delivering the best experience for users. Worked as Venio's first in-house Designer.

- Designing and prototyping both mobile and web app experiences in parallel
- Identified usability improvements resulting higher customer engagement
- Ensured Customer feedback was assessed and incorporated into the design where appropriate
- Introduced agile process working closely with development team to iterate and resolve issues as they arise

Responsible for web design, branding and other multimedia
production projects both client and in-house based. During this internship
I developed effective teamwork skills and problem solving strategies
utilizing practical tools and my experience.
