I mentor early to mid-career product managers navigating 0-to-1 builds, growth challenges, and AI product strategy.

My mentoring focuses on helping PMs sharpen their data-driven decision-making, move from analysis to action, and build conviction in ambiguous situations. I share frameworks that have worked (and failed) in my own experience leading product teams, and ask questions that help mentees find their own answers.

I'm particularly committed to supporting people from underrepresented backgrounds and non-traditional pathways into product leadership.

Sessions with Erica Rios

  • Developing Product Leadership Skills (30 min): At some point in every Product Management career, you realize your success doesn't hinge on your ability to get things done. It is reliant on your ability to build relationships and persuade people across the organization, including executives. I invite senior level Product Managers (7+ years) to set up a 30 minute networking meeting. so we may get to know each other, and you can share examples of how you are struggling to navigate organizational politics, and/or persuade the people around you.
  • Developing PM competencies (30 min): This is a 30 minute session. W will spend the time getting to know each other. I'd like to you to share how you are thriving in Product Management, and how you are struggling. If you are not sure how to assess your situation. That is ok too. We can work through evaluating your competencies.
  • Job Search Resume Review (30 min): If you'd like help with your job search, let's kick things off with an intro call. My goal to understand what type of work you are looking for, and verify I'm the right person to help you. A typical call includes you sharing your career and job search goals with me. I'll also do a brief read of your resume to develop an understanding of your experience. By the end of the call, I'll let you know how quickly I can provide detailed feedback on your resume.
