A front-end developer with 7+ years of experience building user-centred products across various tech companies. Originally from Taiwan 🇹🇼, now based in Vancouver.
I specialise in CSS, prototyping, and accessibility (a11y) — with a focus on bridging design and development. My journey started at 16 building my first website from scratch, and that curiosity has driven my career ever since.
🎯 As a mentor, here's what I can offer: ▪️ Guidance for those new to Front-End — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and accessibility ▪️ Tips for better collaboration between designers and developers ▪️ Resume and portfolio feedback, or help getting started ▪️ Insights on transitioning between design and Front-End development ▪️ UX Design fundamentals and how to get into the field ▪️ Job hunting and career advice in Canada — especially for newcomers

“I found Esther over her blog, and I immediately joined the waitlist. She quickly found time to schedule a conversation with me. It really shows how much she cares about helping others. Plus, she's so kind and easy to talk to! We talked about moving to Canada, and her journey is so inspiring! I deeply appreciate her support and hope to follow her example as I work toward my own goals.”
“My session with Esther was incredibly helpful and insightful! She provided valuable guidance on my resume, job searching strategy, and alternative approaches to finding work overseas. We had a productive conversation that extended beyond the original hour. I'm grateful for her support. I highly recommend Esther and will be implementing her advice.”
“I got some very helpful suggestions for both career planning and job search strategy!”
