Inspired by the words of Alessandro Mendini: I am not a designer, I am a dragon. What about me. My name is Federico Kratter Thaler. Yes, my surname is Austrian — no, (unfortunately) I can't speak German. I'm 28 and I am from Milan, Italy. My first work experience was at Value Partners, a consulting firm based in Milan, through which I took part in various projects collaborating with clients such as Juventus, UnipolSai, Zegna, Crif and Edison. Then I joined Octostar as Founding Product Designer (1st employee), helping shape the next generation of investigative and decision intelligence software. Three years in Galway, Ireland, where I learned what it means to build something from zero. After Octostar I joined bricks.sh, again as 1st employee and Founding Product Designer — a dev-tool that instantly transforms internal APIs into fully-configured admin panels, helping startups ship internal tools in minutes instead of weeks. Along the way I started a few things of my own. C14, an open-source database of Italian startups, designed to make the ecosystem more transparent. M63 Club, a weekly call for founders — 30 minutes, peer-to-peer, every Wednesday. Today I'm CPTO at play2match, building the community that matches people through sport. You show up. We take care of everything else.
