About Felicia Wang

Design Lead at Updater

Hello! I'm a product designer based in San Francisco with experience shipping mobile and web experiences for consumer and enterprise audiences.

While I'm a designer by trade, there's nothing I love more than product strategy. I'm currently flexing my consumer design skills at a fast-paced startup and learning all about the wonderful world of data-driven feature experimentation.

I'm also a wine enthusiast, skiing fanatic and cat lover.

Sessions with Felicia Wang

  • Shipping products with impact (45 min): Please don't ask me about how to pivot into design! I've never had to do it myself so I won't have a good answer for you :) I'm known as a "high horsepower" designer with a knack for getting high stakes, complex, abstract and generally gnarly projects out the door and into the hands of customers. If you're looking to ship more and drive revenue through product design, I can help you step up your game.

What mentees say

β€œFelicia and I had multiple sessions, and she's given all the great insights on my portfolio and how to shape my career path as a product designer. She kindly walked through her experience as well that inspired me a lot. Thanks Felicia!”

Lime Song, Senior Product Designer at Need

β€œIt was a lot of fun talking with Felicia and she really made my day. She is an amazing mentor. She is good at bringing clarity to complex ideas and understanding the strategy. I have 4 full pages of notes and ideas. I learned a lot from our conversation and got inspiration about what I want. If you are looking for suggestions about your career, I would highly recommend Felicia as your mentor.”

Shichao Wang, Product Designer at Fetch

β€œI had a fantastic conversation with Felicia! She gave really helpful advice on how to improve my portfolio, build up my skill set as a designer, and how to present myself in the job hunt. She also had some great insight on the interview process and her own experience at Okta.”
