Hello! My name is Fernando. With over a decade of experience working for big companies, consultancies, and small studios, I also spent 4.5 years working on one of my favourite companies, Amazon (Amazon Business & Alexa Smart Home) in different locations (Madrid / Seattle) after that I moved with my family to Sweden to work for a famous auto maker. Designing for the Car industry is a dream come true and seeing people driving cars I helped develop will always draw a smile in my face. However, becoming a UX designer for cars is a challenging journey that requires resilience and time. It could also be a shock if you come from a high pace or tech company due to the legacy of the high complexity auto industry. I would like to help and guide designers that are interested in UX for cars. Starting with a clear understanding of the work environment, its challenges and legacy will dramatically change how you confront the complexity of this amazing industry. *Important: I will focus on Car UX only.
