Leading the squad, supporting five teams. Working with four designers to elevate the product design practice in the different teams and initiatives.

Enabling explorative design practices and promoting collaboration between all teams.

Leading one squad inside the Retailer Products sphere, supporting three teams. Working with one designer to enable design’s contribution and impact on squad’s goals, by kicking-off research efforts and helping understand our clients' needs, wants and pains.

Focused on improving ways of working between product, engineering and design, and opening space for better collaboration, work visibility, discovery and exploration.

Helping define and fine-tune the squad product offering and positioning.

Leading the Product Design team and efforts for the growing Unified Communications business unit, I'm working with Product and Engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to shape the product strategy and design execution. Currently ramping up a small team of product designers, providing vision and guidance and elevating design practices for the unit, as it grows and develops.

Responsible for end-to-end Product Design contributions for two new major initiatives inside the Workforce Engagement Management cluster. Worked on product discovery and definition with the teams and leadership from day one, shaping workflows and processes to be more user-centric and exploratory. Supported a junior designer for the first months on the project.

As the Product Design team grew exponentially, I had the opportunity to coach and support less experienced designers, influencing positively their growth and empowerment in the organization. During this time, I also contributed to the team's practice by bringing a more product-driven mindset, specific design practices focused on discovery facilitation, discovery and research documentation and by setting up Critique sessions. I was also involved in the hiring process, both by helping with the candidates' pipeline and by participating in the interview process.

Responsible for end-to-end Product Design in a Engineering, Data and Design cross-functional squad for the Students platform. Improving the overall user experience and funnel optimisation of Uniplaces Booking and Search flow, informed by user research and A/B testing.

Responsible for end-to-end Product Design for the Landlords Dashboard. Created a user-centric culture, based on understanding user needs and business goals. Helped to shape several products that led the company forward such as Landlord Dashboard and Landlord self-served acquisition tool that are being used by hundreds of landlords daily.

At Novabase I had the opportunity to work as a UX/UI designer in several projects and companies, such as Santander Totta, EDP, Barclays and Vodafone Portugal.

As an all-around designer, I created the design and front-end development solutions for web-based applications for B2B and consumer companies such as Empark and Udifar.

As a freelancer, I designed and built a handful of websites for small businesses and independent artists/freelancers. I also worked as a graphic designer, designing brand identities and print material.
