I’m a UX/Product Designer with 5+ years of experience designing across consumer, financial and enterprise products. My career has taken me from designing flight-booking experiences used by 20M+ customers at Alibaba Travels, through regulated banking at Handelsbanken, to building complex merchandising tools from the ground up at Tesco.
Over the years, I’ve learned that becoming a better UX designer isn’t only about becoming better at the craft itself. Tools, methods, research, interaction design and visual design are important foundations, but as you grow, the way you work with people often becomes just as important.
A big part of my own growth has been learning how to communicate clearly, collaborate with different personalities and disciplines, ask better questions, seek and give meaningful feedback, handle difficult conversations, challenge ideas constructively, and navigate situations where there isn’t an obvious answer
