About Flavia Canelo

Design & UX Research Lead at Freelance

Born in Argentina and living in Madrid, Spain, since 2019, I’m a social anthropologist and also trained in design and data.

Both anthropology and design have oriented my professional life towards UX and innovation, analyzing complex problems and creating solutions from a pragmatic and humanistic perspective.

For more than ten years, I have been working translating insights into actionable results to generate strategies both in private and public sectors and across various industries.

After several years as a researcher I became a team leader and project manager in evaluative and strategic research processes to develop and optimize products and services as sustainable and user-centered solutions.   I currently work, write, and speak about complex problems by applying an anthropological approach, system thinking, human-centric design, and computational Social Sciences.
