Conducting effective customer interviews

As a Design Manager, strategized and advocated for a user-centric roadmap and vision in collaboration with product executives, stakeholders, data analysts, and user research teams. Supported the team’s growth and independence through team ownership-driven routines. Co-designed and facilitated work sessions with  over 80 people across regions for alignment and effort measuring.

As a designer for Consumer Products, worked on projects, Dead-Ends for the Search Experience, created the Out of Stock Page and it's experience, worked on several Landing Page Optimization projects. During this time, had the pleasure to work closely with highly specialised Research Teams and focused PMs who allowed us to user-test and A/B test in order to gain launching confidence and in the end enable us to re-evaluate every design decision. Created area development rituals such as bi-quarterly Area Syncs with peers across offices for 80 colleagues for our new area which I helped quick-off: Acquisition & Engagement.

Worked on the project App Connect. During this time and more generically created internal bridges to promote a more user-centric approach company wide by sharing both qualitative and quantitative research findings. Additionally, I implemented the company's first research methods, including training design and product teams on tactics such as shadowing and dedicated research days.

Ventured as a full-time Product Owner to design an experience that lives both across online and offline channels. Responsible for our in-house freelance designer and front-end developer. Rethought business strategies and mapped out the entire service. Designed EatTasty's illustration and packaging, co-designed the website, product features including a feedback loop, and our internal delivery app.

Mentored by Faber Ventures and Senior Product Managers became both the Product Manager and Product Designer for the start-up. 
Reported insights gathered from interviews with Financial Advisors and worked closely with the founders to close and review the product priorities. As a designer worked out the full design language and journeys, mentoring a junior designer over the last couple of months.

Helped to organize the first Service Design Course at Central Saint Martins as part of their Summer Courses.

Part of the Experience Design team, called-out for long or short-term projects for various business areas and locations. From Telecomms to Banking to Internal Business Development projects. In each of these teams, responsible for UX, visual consistency, managing outputs with business partners, front and back-end developers.

In Telecommunications worked with clients such as Vodafone, Celfocus and Safaricom. Co-designing experiences for their eCommerce sites, Self-service areas and internal tools.

In Banking, co-designed internal white-label products like Wizzio and MyWizzio Apps (FinTech App) and Finzzy App (Personal Financial Management App).

In Business Design, where I worked for approximately 1 year, build up presentations designed as big-scale infographics (90x1.50m approx long). These are pinned on the wall to be used as workshop tools for redesigning an experience or mapping one from the customer journey, to front-end to all the way to what's needed from the back-end.

Graphic designer working in visual merchandising mock-ups and branding applications. Including brochures, banners and layout advertising for print. Working the following brands: Imagens de Marca (Site e Rebranding), Adega Mayor, Multicare, Fidelidade Mundial, Gina Cafés, Leve, Help-a-home and others.

Graphic designer working for Southwark and Hammersmith & Fulham Circles. Delivering layouts for marketing campaigns, flyers, deliverable packs, posters and boards. Responsible for the launch of Hammersmith & Fulham Circle.

Proudly a small part of this Circle project. Which it's objective is to improve the lives of +50 year’s olds. A service-design-based innovative project with a social and practical component.

As a Design Intern at thinkpublic, for 2 weeks, helped build a layout Design for the companies’ presentation for future clients for NESTA. Participated in projects such as ‘Prototyping project and ‘Action for Age’ Portugal / UK. Learning a lot about culture and service design and social innovation agencies.
