Allstate Roadside Assistance web app and Omni Caller Assist app
● Elevated User Satisfaction: I took charge of an UX design and customer
research initiatives for the Allstate Roadside Assistance web app and Omni
Caller Assist app, achieving a 45% increase in user satisfaction by the second
quarter.
● Streamlined Processes: Managed multiple work streams, delivering
solutions on a tight design-to-development timeline using Agility and Version
One planning software.
● Engaged User Testing: Built interactive prototypes, wireframes, and
storyboards to communicate ideas and conducted user testing through
UserZoom, ensuring designs met customer needs.
● Collaborative Enhancements: Worked closely with Allstate's design system,
content design, software engineering, product managers, and CX leadership
to refine and improve user experiences.

Allstate Gateway, a news and resources portal
● Redesigned Key Portal: Led the redesign of Allstate Gateway, a news and
resources portal used by 50,000 Allstate agents across 51 states and
territories.
● Scalable UI/UX Components: Developed UI/UX components, utilized existing
design libraries, and created new templates to ensure consistency and
scalability across the Gateway portal.
● Regular Feedback Loops: Conducted bi-weekly design review sessions using
Figma with senior leadership, subject matter experts, and product managers
to gather feedback and align on design directions.

Deliver user experience research to web based digital products and other software engineering solutions that create an optimized user experience. Translate design concepts to prototype solutions as quickly and tangible as possible, with a balance understanding of technical feasibility implications and design intent.

I was directly responsible for decisions that form JPMorgan & Chase clients home mortgage web experiences. I was collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team that includes researchers, content writers, product managers, engineers, and business partners who share your passion for delivering unique and innovative financial digital products and services of all kinds, including trading and advice platforms. I was actively involved in defining product strategy by designing hands-on in Sketch while also working with already established design systems.

Primary UX responsibilities include creating information architecture, sitemaps, sketches, wireframes and clickable prototypes with a focus on mobile first design. As well as, developing personas and user scenarios. Creating a dynamic, intuitive and responsive interfaces for a customer portal that showcases my strong user interface design skills.

Produce concept wire-framing, storyboards, interaction flows, and low-to-high fidelity prototype designs for mobile and desktop. Communicate ideas effectively, listen to feedback and correct/direct accordingly, recognize competing inputs and priorities, and collaborate with the development team in Agile environment. Build style guides in HTML and CSS. Lead as a design advocate on multiple products and consistently raise the bar on efficiency and quality.
•	Award-winning: In 2018, served as lead designer in a team that won a Merit Award from the Richmond Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. Our team was recognized for the redesign of the VCU Brandcenter website
•	VCU.edu: From October-December, 2017, helped ensure more than 300 university websites were AA compliant and passed WCAG AA testing
•	Fundraising Website: In 2016, designed a dynamic website, digital advertisements, and e-mail campaigns with a team that has helped raise more than $700 million in donations

•	Worked on implementing UX persona profile of Jane into an animated executive presentation that showcased a design for a universal banking mobile wallet.
     •	Used Flash, iMovie, and QuickTime to create the animated presentation.

Time Kick • UI/UX Designer (freelance) • 03/2015 - 04/2015 
     •	Served as client communications contact for a for time alarm mobile application, including gathering and organizing assets for iOS mobile development purposes.
     •	Prepared logo for print marketing products such as business cards, posters and banners.

Movv • UI Mobile Designer (Freelance) • 01/2015 - 03/2015 
     •	Created UI designs for an iOS and Android e-commerce web app that lets users record video of products, lets users post on to the marketplace and able to share on social networks and use a digital cash to exchange product in person or arrange for shipping.
     •	Partnering with the business owner to gather requirements, generating a set of test cases, and worked to translate them into a mobile video commerce application. 

WISER TOGETHER • UI Designer (Freelance) • GEORGETOWN, DC • 06/2013 - 04/2014 
     •	Worked as a UI Designer on their personalized healthcare treatment comparison software that enabled consumers to choose the right treatment based on their health insurance plan.
     •	Designed a unique web-based support tool that helps people make cost-effective, evidence-based health care treatment decisions.

KSI Data Science • UI/UX Designer (Consultant) • 04/2010 - 03/2015
     •	Created UI designs for a web application that manages live video and data from closed-circuit televisions (CCTV), body cams, drones (UAVs), ground robots, and underwater remotely operated vehicles (ROVs). 
     •	Implemented UX design techniques such as personas, journey maps, sketches, user scenarios, wireframes, mental models and prototypes for global aerial intelligence services, agriculture field modeling, utility line inspections, and disaster-response drone teams. 
     •	Developed creative elements such as logos, brochures, new business presentations, and investor presentations.

Communicated with other technical professionals, subject matter experts, project stakeholders and executive leadership at this video and data management software and hardware company. The software captured, standardized, processed, fused, and distributed video, images, and data from aerial drones. Participated in the software development cycle in an Agile/Scrum environment and contributed to the ceremonies and processes (daily stand-ups, design reviews, sprint retrospectives, etc.).
•	Branding: Helped grow revenue $1-$15 million in six years by producing and supervising the execution of a product and marketing plan for consistent internal and external branding

•	Art Direction: Made logos, fliers, data sheets, and website pages for new products that were used by the U.S. Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security

•	Award: In 2005, helped the company win the Virginia Center for Innovative Technology's High Tech Emerging Company award

•	Entrepreneurial: First designer hired for this startup that grew to more than 120 employees; it was sold in 2010 for $32 million
