CTO at Tiquemax
I'm the founder and CTO of Tiquemax, an event ticketing platform serving Venezuela and Colombia, and a software architecture consultant for telecom and insurance companies. I run a product where a stadium-scale on-sale can sell out in a couple of hours, and help other teams redesign systems that grew faster than their architecture.
I work at the intersection of software architecture, product, engineering leadership, and AI. My stack leans on serverless and event-driven architectures on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS). Lately my focus is AI-assisted engineering: coding agents, automation, and LLM-powered products, using AI as a multiplier for engineering judgment, not a replacement.
Book a session if:
You're weighing serverless or event-driven and want to know what actually breaks. Your team adopted AI coding tools and productivity didn't move. You're a senior engineer moving into a lead or architect role. You need a second opinion on an architecture decision before it gets expensive.
I've led teams of 10+ and, with my team, built Colombia's first fully serverless election-witness system for the national electoral authority, plus the election-delegate platform that absorbed spikes of 20,000 users per minute. I've also helped redesign a telecom operator's 20+ system landscape.
