Product designer at Arrival, Sennep
Hi! I'm Gil, a senior product designer at Arrival.
Currently based in London, previously in the Israeli desert, I have designed digital experiences for start-ups and global brands such as Roli, Barclays, McKinsey, and Elton John.
In my free time, I'm a mentor in London College of Communication Mentorship Program, and I’m the co-creator of 42Percent Noir, an A/V project combing live piano and interactive visuals.
As a designer who's mainly self-taught, I’m keen to give back to the design community, aiming to make the industry more authentic, transparent, and inclusive.
“Had a great chat with Gil recently about my career and progress. More casual than informative, which wasn't a bad thing! Gil is a super accomplished designer working at an interesting company and was really easy to chat to about both my life and his. Felt like an actual conversation rather than a mentoring program which was nice.”
“Gil is a helpful mentor and friendly in his demeanor. He is a self-taught designer himself, so he understands the struggles of first starting out, and has good advice that really resonates with self-taught designers especially. I recommend Gil as a mentor!”
“Gil is open, friendly, and transparent. He gives very insightful advice base on his great and vast experience in design. I would 100% encourage you to have a chat with him- you will learn a lot!”
