For Gopichand Mannava, innovation is not simply about what technology can do—it is about what people can trust. As Chief Data Architect for the State of Connecticut and an independent researcher, he connects enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and responsible AI with the public institutions they serve.
With more than a decade of experience, Gopichand has contributed to statewide analytics modernization, including Connecticut’s STARS platform. His research explores agentic AI governance, zero-trust access, data provenance, and the foundations of trustworthy enterprise AI.
A Forbes Technology Council Executive Member and CDO Magazine Global Board member, he contributes through publishing, advisory service, peer review, and technology-awards judging.
His honors include 2026 Oracle Analytics & AI Leader, MachineCon USA 2026 AI150 honoree, and Claro Awards Gold Winner in Technology. He is a co-inventor on three filed German AI patent applications and holds an M.Eng., MBA, and PMP.
