As the design system lead for Mastercards Commercial space, Haley creates a user interface solution from the ground up. Haley builds a production and implementation strategy for Smart Data, a commercial card solution, that seamlessly aligns with product roadmaps. She focuses on adding value to product, design, and engineering team members by creating tools to enhance their daily workflows. In turn, her team is able to create a more delightful user experience for end customers. Haley's work includes creating a new visual design direction for Commercial rooted in intentionally defined design principles and leverages the design system as the tool to bring positive change to Commercial products in a way that is scalable and efficient.

Haley leads design thinking sessions with product leaders and subject matter experts to restructure the approach to the branding and architecture of Smart Data. She organizes user research methodologies to ensure user needs are addressed and success is measured. She enforces responsive web and accessibility standards. She finds cost-effective opportunities to leverage existing resources to build component libraries. And she collaborates with engineering to create front-end automation.

As a Senior Designer at Freddie Mac Haley managed and grew the One Roof Design System by seamlessly integrating the design system backlog into existing team resources and roadmaps. Haley ensured component and pattern libraries were developed and released on a weekly cadence supported by guiding documentation. She wrote a content guide that fostered inclusivity and consistency. And she organized regular communication channels to ensure transparency and encourage adoption.

Additionally, Haley supported large-scale feature release work with prototyping and user research. She collaborated with agile teams and leveraged research findings to create innovative solutions to complex user challenges.

Haley supports two major media publications, Protocol and POLITICO, with branding, event, and marketing design needs. Haley's designs have been displayed at global media events, shown in large-scale print and digital ad spaces in cities, and used across digital content and social media platforms.
