About Hamad Khawaja
Lead Software Engineer at Optum
Currently a seasoned Software Engineer at Optum with over 8 years of experience across diverse tech landscapes. I've had the privilege of working on College Sports solutions at industry giants like ESPN and also worked at innovative startups like Slooh, where I helped bring the cosmos closer to Earth through technology.
My journey has also included successful freelance ventures, giving me a versatile perspective on software development.
My technical DNA is wired for Backend Development, with a deep fascination for cloud technologies and Artificial Intelligence.
I thrive on leading engineering teams, where I've discovered my passion for mentoring both Junior and Senior Engineers, helping them navigate the ever-evolving tech landscape.
When I'm not immersed in code or exploring cutting-edge cloud solutions, you'll find me at the poker table, where the strategic thinking required mirrors the problem-solving skills I bring to tech.
My love for continuous learning extends to my reading habits, keeping me sharp in both technical and personal growth.
I'm always eager to dive into discussions about cloud architecture, emerging technologies, and the future of software engineering. Let's connect and explore the possibilities!
