For the last five years, I’ve been designing in healthcare, where every decision carries a little more responsibility than it first appears. At Optum, I work on Crimson AI, designing experiences around ambulatory quality and patient safety- turning complex systems into products that feel clear, thoughtful, and useful.
Outside of work, my curiosity tends to wander.
It first found its way into Mumma’s Archive-a collection of stories and illustrations inspired by my mother and the quiet wisdom hidden in everyday rituals. Somewhere between writing those stories and reflecting on them, another question emerged: What if AI could carry a little of that same warmth? That’s how Tripti began-still an experiment, still evolving, and easily the project I spend the most time thinking about.
I also enjoy sharing what I’m learning. Over the years, that has taken me to stages like UX India, India HCI, ConveyUX, and ICORD, where I’ve had the chance to talk about design, research, and the ideas that keep me curious.
When I’m away from my screen, you’ll probably find me working out outdoors, cooking something slowly, sketching ideas, getting lost in a book, or picking up my guitar.
Looking back, I realise I enjoy making things in many forms-products, stories and now AI experiments.
