About Hazar Aki

Senior Product Designer at Spotify

I’m a Senior Product Designer at Spotify, a TV lover, and hummus enthusiast based in Brooklyn.

I love coming up with solutions that enrich people’s lives and put a smile on their faces. I care about connecting with others as well as connecting with ourselves, leaving a better world behind while having a little fun.

There’s a special place in my heart for Equitable Design and I geek out on Design Systems like they are Throwback Thursday playlists. I also drink a questionable amount of seltzer and watch at least one episode of Bob’s Burgers a day.

“Absolutely wonderful! Hazar is one of the most genuine mentors I have come across. He is friendly, approachable, and very knowledgeable. He provided me with a lot of helpful feedback on both my portfolio and my internship search. I highly recommend a session with him.”

“I really enjoyed the sessions with Hazard. We had a mock interview to practice behavioral questions. With his encouragement, I was able to present myself confidently in the interviews and l ended up getting an offer. Thank you very much and looking forward to my next session with Hazar”

“Hazar is amazing. He is not only a great mentor, but also in friends. He showed lots of empathy and provided the most comfortable support to help me defeat the recession dilemma in the job market. I was able to land a new design job with his guidance and courage of being persistent. Appreciate for his help.”
