Being the only designer

Identify new market opportunities, fuel revenue growth, inspire passion through brand storytelling, and help to drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement. Master new digital channels, explore emerging trends, and champion innovation and evolution within marketing department strategy with engaging content. Manage the content calendar and a moderate budget while working directly with musicians and mentoring two coordinators and a graphic designer to steer resource allocation, emphasizing appropriate platform as needs change—from video to blogs to print collateral and social media. Collaborate with the Development, Education and Community, and Operations teams to galvanize customer loyalty and continued patron engagement. Work interdepartmentally to successfully manage and produce the monthly Program Book for distribution in print and online at each Pacific Symphony concert held at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall.

Influenced customer behavior and attracted new patrons by generating new campaigns and optimizing marketing strategy across multimedia channels. Engaged, acquired, and retained new subscribers and patrons while overseeing digital marketing campaigns, diversifying the orchestra’s audience. Negotiated ad buys, vendor affiliations, and media content with industry publishers, TV and radio. Deepened relationships with audiences and community members by formulating best-in-class sales, marketing, and engagement strategies that powered audience development and surpassed ambitious revenue goals. Elevated brand visibility and amplified community impact via outreach initiatives. Managed $325,000 budget and balanced value/profitability of product portfolio—from subscription packages and individual ticket sales to all-inclusive packages.
•	Expanded brand reach and revamped marketing strategy and message to attract more diverse audience by ideating strategies that sparked interest in, and awareness of, numerous functions and events. 
•	Utilized data analytics to exceed growth goals through brand communications, pricing and venue mapping, promotional campaigns, and community engagement to deliver substantial growth, including: 21% uptick in subscription sales from 2016/17 season to 2019/2020 season; 32% spike in single-ticket sales from 2016/17 season to 2019/2020 season; 12% escalation in Saturday event attendance from 2018/29 season to 2019/2020 season; 70% growth in social media metrics from 2016/17 season to 2019/2020 season.
•	Using ticket sales data and analytics, worked with artistic management to calendar engaging programming and desired artists to fuel organizational revenue growth and community and patron engagement and loyalty. 
•	Managed HSO Symphony Associates, a group of volunteers dedicated to supporting the mission of the HSO.

Defined and directed overarching marketing vision and strategy for real estate brokerage in partnership with CEO and executive team. Maximized ROI across all marketing channels, selecting optimal mix of social media, content marketing, programmatic advertising and TV appearances, search engine optimization (SEO), print and email publications, new home-buyer webinars, and direct marketing to build multi-touchpoint integrated marketing campaign that delivered approximately $2.5M in new revenue in first year. Adopted continuous improvement and data-driven mindset, frequently evaluating and conducting A/B testing to maximize campaign efficacy. Stayed ahead of competition, enhanced profitability, KPIs, brand strategy, and marketing platform mix by keeping a finger on the pulse of the industry and relying deeply on analyzing metrics from sales, trends, competitive and internal campaigns. Reverting back to privately-owned Locations, after retiring the Prudential name, saved the organization 2.5% in franchise fees on all real estate transactions.

Established and expanded business into communications company focused on communications and strategic planning, as well as artistic and creative direction. Organized, designed, and developed marketing campaigns including social media, email, and video. Researched and curated content newsletters, pamphlets, brochures, press releases, video scripts, websites, and other marketing materials. Steered all internal and external promotional communications for small and medium-sized corporations.

After successfully beating out 5 other firms to win the HEMIC account, Studio del mar was proud to apply our talent and strategic planning to manage and run all the PR, marketing, and communications efforts for a successful “Celebrating 20 Years” campaign.
• Ashore Family of Properties. Studio del Mar was engaged to apply the branding look book across all client facing collateral, including rack cards, door hangers, in-room maps and printed collateral, gift certificates, event brochures, wedding brochures, welcome signs, stationery, and website artwork.

Co-founder of niche 124-page publication designed to encourage 501c7 not-for-profit private clubs, boards, and senior management to travel down the path of collaborative governance for the betterment of each private club. Capitalized on untapped market space by creating “fact-only” news articles and content designed to educate boards of directors, owners, general managers, and department heads of private golf, city, yacht, tennis, and country clubs about issues concerning all aspects of the club, golf course management, and operations. Manage magazine production and print budget, write content and design ads, manage magazine layout and online presence, and support advertisers, vendors and writers.
