Hi, 👋 I’m Heather.
For the past 10+ years I’ve been teasing apart complexity as a mixed methods ux researcher.
My research experience ranges from start-up early concepts to Fortune 500 multi-stage research in a variety of industries. I earned a Masters in Human Factors in Information Design.

Throughout my career I have followed my own path. Prior to UX I was a teacher, a professional photographer, and worked in image licensing, copyright, & permissions.

As a researcher in an enterprise and as a ux consultant I have partnered with a wide range of people and have learned how to navigate the complexity and politics of organizations and build strategic relationships across different business units to further the impact of research.

Discovery research is my favorite because it is ambiguous and can be defined in many ways. In my work I look to understand the context of research and the stakeholders in order to craft messaging will be heard.

I've connected with many people just starting out in UX and provided mentorship and guidance and
I enjoy helping others navigate their UX journey - whether you're just starting out or looking to amplify your impact.
