Hemant Chhabra is an interaction design researcher and game development enthusiast from New Delhi.
He is a seasoned system design thinker and practitioner, and has expertise in unbiased research, innovation, design and developing efficient products from scratch. An ardent and inquisitive learner, he is able to passionately juggle between multi-faceted technology, design and behavioural science problems on any given day. He is self-motivated, is a patient listener, and is a keen observer of design nitty-gritties in everyday life. He possesses great communication skills, and advocates a mature and inclusive design approach, process and/or outcome.
He has delivered a gamut of tailored consumer experiences to a wide range of mediums and platforms, both for corporations and as an independent collaborator since 2011. His expertise stretches from working on an 18-hole golf course surrounded by villas to analysing how the unique perceptions of a visually challenged user can serve as inspiration to create improved usability and accessibility for the rest of the human senses.
With a decade’s experience in a variety of research and design methods, he has been able to cultivate a name for himself as a product owner, a design strategist and an empathetic researcher whose innovated products have allowed him to touch the lives of millions of consumers.
He has high regard for open source innovation and game development, and has been able to contribute to developing small but vital components in both fields. He is interested in meaningful collaborations which provide opportunities to utilise his specified competencies within research, behavioural science, technology, art, and innovation into developing objective and enjoyable initiatives for consumers.
He is passionate about music and loves to explore different genres which can run through centuries. He finds it relaxing to create voxel models, continuously improvising his visual design composition skills. He is always intrigued about human behaviour from attentively watching movies spanning over a century. Avid fan of playing digital games, in addition he analyses them too. He has a keen eye and highly curious to investigate, while deriving inspiration from everything natural.
