Head of UX Research, Local at Google
Jack of all trades, master of none. I've been a SWE, PM, UXD, and a management consultant — all before becoming a UX Researcher after joining Google. Regardless of the role, I've always focused on human-centered design and innovation. Experienced in change management and organizational development, I build teams that thrive, drive strategy, and challenge the status quo — all while having fun. I sense signals strong and emerging, quant and qual, direct and lateral — across a myriad of sources — to figure out what's coming next and how to go after it. I'm humbled to have worked with some of the best companies in the world — Google, Nike, Target, Coke, William Morris Endeavor, Levi Strauss & Co, Salesforce, and more — and take with me lessons learned from some of the smartest, kindest, most creative people I've ever met.
Please note: I do not provide product feedback or entertain business development meetings.
“It was great meeting with Homer! He's extremely knowledgeable and definitely someone you can learn a lot from! We have similar backgrounds in behavioral and social science so it was really inspiring to hear about his journey and how he uses those skills. He has so much knowledge to share and he freely provided me with a ton of resources. He has a genuine willingness to help others and it shows.”
“Highly knowledgeable, extremely helpful & approachable - amazing session with Homer truly provides key insights to break into product strategy/UXUI.”
“Homer truly helped me widen my perspective of cross-collaborations. He helped me better structure my stories to emphasize my strengths in the different roles and projects that I worked on. Am hoping to book another session with him in the future!”
