About Hossam Hashim
Product Lead at Barakah
An analytical problem-solver from engineering, a customer advocate from market research, and a product manager driving customer and business value through technology 📱
With a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minor in Economics, I started off my career in market research and consumer insights, where I gained valuable experience in understanding customer behavior and developing customer empathy 💬🤷
Then, my passion for understanding customers went beyond just research and remaining in the customer problem space to apply this knowledge in building the solution. That's why I transitioned to product management, where I could take those insights and turn them into game-changing products that make a difference 💥
Product Management happens to be the perfect way to feed the passion for someone like me who loves being in the middle of the action, working closely with business, data, design, and engineering teams, and wearing different hats 📲
Beyond my work, I'm a strong believer in continuous learning. Whether you're looking to build your next big thing or just want to chat about building products or career moves, I'd be happy to collaborate with you and/or share knowledge. 🗒
