Hi, I'm Humberto, Principal Product Designer at Norton.

Before that, I spent 7 years as Head of Product Design at Uptime, leading design, product and growth for a consumer app that hit 11M+ learners and picked up Apple App of the Day and Google Play App of the Year. I also ran the B2B side, taking the same platform into 2,000+ enterprise customers across 100+ countries.

I've been on both sides, hiring designers and going through the interview process myself, rebuilding my portfolio from scratch along the way. It's given me a sharp, current sense of what actually gets a senior designer hired versus what just looks good on a slide.

I launched Simple Places, a B2B SaaS product for short-term rental hosts, with my wife. So the founder-side advice comes from something I'm doing right now, not something I did five years ago.
