Idara is a technology and product leader with over a decade of experience in identifying customers’ needs, business objectives, and implementing solutions. As a professional, she has worked with different sectors, ranging from retail, telecommunications, financial services, oil & gas, advertising, supply chain, utilities just to mention a few, and has contributed immensely to the growth of these sectors. She is currently a Product Director in Beacon Power Services, a leading provider of data and software solutions for Africa’s power sector. She has led product development in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Ivory Coast, South Africa, and in several organisations such as Kobo360, Curacel, EAfrica, and Terragon Group, to mention a few. She rose from the role of a product analyst in Jumia and has proven her worth and made a name for herself through the years due to her achievements. With active years of experience within the industry, her core competencies include product roadmap, strategy, feature prioritization, agile methodology, user onboarding and feedback, requirement gathering, product design, and many more. Through her abilities, Idaraesit has proven that she is skilled at navigating and owning the phases of a product life cycle to profitable fruition. Idara is also on the board of Junior Chamber International (JCI Nigeria), the leading global network of young Leadrers.
