I was the UX lead for Wix's dashboard platform, the product layer behind roughly 60% of Wix's 400+ business pages across 70 product teams. In 4+ years at Wix I went from embedded designer on 10+ teams to sole UX lead. Databases, website editors, security, internal tooling: I've designed across all of them. I'm self-taught, in design since 2018, with books and communities standing in for a degree.
Mentoring has been part of the job the whole way: dozens of junior designers, a mentor role in Wix's yearly junior UX bootcamp, and months of follow-up with those who made it through. I also trained colleagues on Figma and maintained the UX Guild libraries the design org uses.
AI changed how I work. Beyond research and prototyping, I've used it to contribute code to our working repos. Writing code was never in my job description, but pushing changes myself was often the fastest way to raise the quality of what shipped.
I mentor because the path I took, self-taught with no degree into a lead role at a major tech company, is one many people are walking right now, and I know where it gets hard. I can help with portfolio reviews, breaking into UX without a degree, design systems, using AI in design, and growing from junior to mid-level.
